Hello experts,
the question is aimed at the chemical management within the Risk Assessment (not specification database in product safety and stewardship).
When a new safety data sheet is sent by the supplier the chemical data (Object EHFND_CHEMICAL) needs to be updated. Is there a best practice for updating the chemical data (supported by a workflow)?
Thank you in advance
Hello
regarding:
"When a new safety data sheet is sent by the supplier the chemical data (Object EHFND_CHEMICAL) needs to be updated. Is there a best practice for updating the chemical data (supported by a workflow)"
we need to differentiate the "functional" and the "technical part"
Normally Safety Data Sheet information is handled in EHS-BD etc.
There are option for making data in EHS-BD in "sync" to data as maintained on level: EHFND_CHEMICAL
Please check online help etc.
Best practise: if we have a new Safety Data Sheet we have new information and therefore: this new information should be entered to a database and then in the database the follow up process should be started.
For this process: most of the company use own business process.
So what is your focus? The "Business part" or the "IT part"?
