in sap business one. I have created an account under Asset drawer. how does the journal entry 

will identify the new account whether it was debit (Asset account) or a credit account (Liability). was it the drawer that grant this information to the new account or something hard-coded behind the scene. I didn't get it. am not an accountant but am trying to learn what goin on in the proper way.

The existence of different Drawers in the Chart of Accounts of SAP Business One is the way to organize and provide sums and subtotals of the General Ledger Accounts in the Financial Report Templates. The reports are presented according to the accounting practices to present Balance Sheet, and Profit and Loss

Depending on the localization, The company comes already with a preset Chart of Accounts.
