Severe error(s) occurred in phase PREP_EXTENSION/COMPINFO_SPP!

Hello Guys,

I am attempting to install a new S4HANA system on a Redhat Linux server. The base installation via SWPM is successful, but the SUM process that follows is stuck due to RFC communication failure issues. I have attached the logs as well as the various commands I used to check and activate the system instances.

For the first time, I received the following error: RFC login was successful but start data could not be read.

phase-compinfo-log.txt

RFC login was never successful after that.

Is formatting and reinstalling the only way to resolve this?
