Why sap allow same number for different number range ?

Why SAP allow same number for two different number range ?

any one can clear our doubts please.

In standard, system will not allow to have the same number range with different objects. It will trigger a message "Enter intervals without overlap" and you can't save this change. If it is allowing in your case, then, it seems to be a bug. Raise an OSS message
