we would like to use SAP PLM with the latest SAP frontend version (SAP Business Client 8.0).
Only we have a problem that we can't find a proper installation guide.
Background: Our existing frontend (Business Client 7.6) still works with a 32bit version and needs a Java JDK to call and upload documents from the local computer.
The new Business Client versions 7.70 or 8.0 are only available on 64-bit.
I am missing a detailed step-by-step guide here that tells me which version is compatible with which JDK and what needs to be installed and configured on frontend and backend.
So far we can't get the conversion to the Business Client 64bit done without problems.
We want to edit the documents in the SAP ECM via the linked document info records.
Physically the data is on the SAP Content Server 6.53.
Do you have any idea / help for me?
