SAP - MM (Material Management ) module is very very close with SAP - SD module

If you are SAP SD functional consultant then sure you have already work with MM module also so no problem to grow with MM module.

Wishing you all the best for your bright future.

Dear Amrish Ji,

Agree MM but daily creation master data works in MM module is more than others. In creation it takes time if u have more plants.

Now I am looking 7 plants.

I have knowledge in MM module of RFQ, PR, PO, MIGO, Service Entry sheet, Material and Vendor Master creation.

Hi Dhanshree,

Here is a blog article I had written couple of months ago - https://blogs.sap.com/2021/12/27/three-growth-opportunities-for-sales-distribution-sd-consultants/

Hopefully it helps. In the article are options which supplement SD very closely and things that helped me alot in my career.

Thank you.

Hi dhanshree11

The business models are changing to services rapidly across industries from the traditional way of customer sales. One of the areas you could potentially look at is SAP Brim. The below learning journey might be useful:

This will easily complement what you have been doing so far already.

You could also look into sourcing and procurement to develop yourself as a consultant with expertise in majority of logistics area.

Materials Management is a close "cousin" of SD so it would be good to know in addition to SD

Also I recommend learning more about S/4HANA with the free OpenSAP courses at open.sap.com and more about the SAP cloud productions - free learning at learning.sap.com

In Material Management lots of work in daily like Material codes, Vendor creation.

Configuration part is fine.
