What to do if a field is missing in the Business Partner Master Fiori Apps

This query was raised with me recently so I will add the answer here in our community as well in case our community users have similar queries about what to do if a field is missing in the Business Partner Master Fiori Apps?

Hi Stephen,

could You please explain how to add standard field which is visible in sapgui but in Fiori App is in CDS Views not implemented...

Hello alexlik,

Not all fields which are available in the GUI App (Maintain Business Partner) are available in the Fiori Apps (e.g. Manage Business Partner). The Fiori Apps are lighter versions of the GUI App and contain the must used fields.

If there is a field from the GUI app which is missing from the Fiori App which you would like to sugget be added to the BP Fiori Apps you can do so on the SAP Customer Influence Portal (KBA 2865228 - Field(s) Missing in Business Partner Master Fiori Apps https://launchpad.support.sap.com/#/notes/2865228).
