My requirement is to add PL010 and PL020 and assign it to PL030. As i am novice in BPC Standard, I am exploring the BADI.

The above requirement is for standard.

Sorry, but you don't need a badi for this job, script logic will do the same with a few lines of code.

Also not clear when do you want to perform addition? When user save data or execute package?

Yes I do agree with your input, we can do this by simple script logic but my only intention is to explore on BADI, like how to read the infocube data and do some calculation with that data. Hope you got my point. Can you please let me know the steps or any document on how to read the infocube data and do operation with the data.

Different badi type has to be used. And in most cases you don't need to read data from the model to perform calculations...
