SAP Migration cockpit - How to create BP master data with external number

Dear all,

I am willing to use the Migration Cockpit in S/4 HANA Fiori to create the BP master data.

however, looks like the BP number enter in the csv. file must follow the interval number order.

For example, the last BP number already exist in the system is: 10000567; then in csv.file, the BP number must be 10000568.

I want to know that is it possible to use the external number to create the BP number?

Hi,

To be able to migrate Business Partners with external numbering you must make sure, that your customizing in your target system is set up to handle external numbering. 

You must for example look at the BP Grouping and the number ranges assigned.
