Leveraging the flexible metadata framework (MDF) technology already built into SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central, a new Health and Vaccine Tracking Portlet enables customers to store and monitor key data. This portlet, developed by SAP, is available within the Upgrade Center at no cost and can be customized to meet a variety of monitoring needs:
Employees can access the portlet directly within their People Profile and can input key health and vaccine information (Figure 1). By combining this with existing SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central data, practical real-time analytics can be used to help safely bring employees back to the workplace (Figure 2). Identifying high-risk areas enables organizations to determine which employees can return to the workplace or be approved for travel.
To enable the portlet, HR admins can visit the Upgrade Center within SAP SuccessFactors and select “Health and Vaccine Tracking” from the Optional Upgrades section:
