Where would you deploy the cards on an on-premise system? Similarly to UI5 applications?

You can deploy this in SAP BTP Workzone Standard edition or advanced edition. Yes using similar to UI5 app you deploy.

@yogananda can we deploy these integration cards on SAP on-premise (fiori launchpad) and use them as "simple" tiles, and having the same result that we have with workzone?

Yes, if you have html, manifest.json and javascript files, you can deploy into on-prem fiori applications.
