Instance refresh: Source Environment and Target Environment are same – Production

Hello,

We would like to refresh our STAGE environment and when submitting a refresh request: the STAGE environment is availabel in the picklist when Source Environment and Target Environment are same – Production.

What does it mean to have Source Environment and Target Environment same – as Production? Would it mean that PRODUCTION will be copied and STAGE overwritten?
