Picking up the Workflow Status onto a Field in MDF (SAP SuccessFactors)

Hi there everyone

There is a requirement from client. They want a field in MDF to be populated as per the status of the workflow. If the workflow is pending it should show pending, if approved it must show completed. Can this be done through the business rules or any other workaround?

If believe in the employee time object, that mechanism exists (so you can sort of peek into how that was solutioned), but it could be that you'd need some business rules (worst case scenario even integration center and a custom mdf object) to further facilitate this need.
