Automating Department Manager Role in Approval Process.

Hello,

One of the approval process steps represents the department manager, and I need the approval process to select automatically the related user from one of the custom columns in the UDF file.

We are aware that the LMS system automatically detects the Supervisor Level 1, Supervisor Level 2, and HRBP, so I need the same mechanism to apply to the department manager.

Can you advise a solution for that or suggest any workarounds?

Could find anything which would allow to populate Approval Roles tab automatically, it seems like it needs to be done by hand, but I would recommend to check user connector templates to be sure.

I would like the system to read "Department Manager" in such a way that it reads "Supervisor Level 1."

My query pertains to this type of automation. What you are proposing is to create a custom role and manually assign the user IDs of department managers to it, allowing for organization control.
