Blind Recruiting for the purpose of Inclusion & Diversity

We are investigating options for blind recruiting. The purpose is to remove any unconscious bias from our selection.

We are able to limit the view in Success Factors so that the hiring leader cannot see name, email and gender in the job req however we are wondering how other companies approach hiding details like he/she, name, email, linkedin profile address from attached documents especially with CV's from agencies being written in a 3rd party perspective.

I was reading some SAP pages regarding accessibility for persons with disabilities and I also reached this Q&A page.

My daughter in law would attend an SAP academy in SAP finance (or any other module) but as she is blind is facing Insurmountable difficulties to find a suitable path to get into a course of study designed for blinds.

We actually tried together to use training material in the "sap learning hub" but is very difficult to use through "Jaws" as navigation is very complex for a blind person and each course inside has videos with images that are not readable for Jaws. But let me say that there are also many other problems reading training materials using Jaws (Jaws is one of the standard software that "reads screen pages" to the blind).

We also think that paying fees to register to sap live access systems should be done once we are sure that SAP transactions could be used through JAWS.

Today many employers that can hire people with disabilities but adopted SAP systems and people with blindness are cut off without capabilities to use an SAP system at all level: user, expert user etc.

my question is does anyone has knowledge about specific paths that SAP has provided to enable a blind person to study the sap academy? is there a specific team or email for this purpose?

We weren't able to find it by ourselves so apparently, It seems that this something that was not planned or considered at all.

Employer adoption of SAP system is creating a big barrier to get to work for young blind people that cannot educate themselves to use new technologies.

I would appreciate any suggestion.

Thanks

Alessandro

Hi Tina, can you confirm that this SF extension supports blind CVs? Or is there any other extension that does? Thank you!

Hi Tina, how are you finding 'brillianthire'? Are you still using it? Are you able to share CV's to leaders in your business without the identifying information on this platform?

Thanks

Alison
