SAP PLM played a crucial role as a foundation for integration, offering transparent and efficient product development operations. Despite strict deadlines and budget limits, OSG EX-CELL-O managed to overcome the hurdles and went live with the platform in record time. The quick rollout is attributed to the use of best practice configurations that were ready to use and the restructuring of PLM processes, which significantly boosted efficiency.
The implementation has positively overhauled operations at OSG EX-CELL-O, enabling the company to create project Bill of Materials (BOMs), establish data sharing across departments, and lay the groundwork for continuous product lifecycle management.
