PPM Experts,

Can you help to understand how Projects Button got enabled in Portfolio Management? In Our Dev system it's enabled and in QA it's disabled. In Configurator i don't find this button created for NPDI variant. The open TR's are not helping either.

HI,

It is present in the SPRO navigation path:

SAP Portfolio and Project Management -> Portfolio Management -> Global Customizing -> Portfolio-Independent Settings -> Define Portfolio Item Types

Here for the node "Linking Item type and Application", you need to select the option 'Link To Project System' either 'Portfolio and Project Management' or 'Project System'..

Then, Map Item Type to Project or PS, under the node - Item Type to Project Type, you can map the item type with the cPro type.

for the node 'Item Type to PS Project;, you can map the item type with the PS Project type.

Similary, you can map the item type with cPRO templates in the node 'Item Type to Project Templates'

Regards,

Mohan
