Dear All,

I want to create one bill of materials, Parent Item UoM is Pcs and child item UoM is Kgs.
By this way, I need 3kgs of child item to create 1 Pc of parent item.

But I am getting error "Row Level Quantity cannot be greater than Total Quantity".

Please advise solution for this.

Regards.

Dear @Mohit0217, since I don't have access to all the required info I can only make a guess. Assuming

  • 'Base UoM' of the header material is PC and,
  • either Base UoM or Unit of Issue (Plant Data 1 View) of the item-level material is kg,

it might be interesting to check conversion between Alternative UoMs in Additional Data.

All the best!

Dear @Mohit0217, this is the BoM you're trying to create and it doesn't have the info I advised you to check. You may check if 'Base UoM' of the header material is PC and, either Base UoM or Unit of Issue (Plant Data 1 View) of the item-level material is kg. It might be interesting to check conversion between Alternative UoMs in Additional Data. You may check these in the Material Master (Product) of the component material.
