how to extend S-user ID which is going to expire soon ?

hi all,

i am receiving these email notifications.

"Your S-user ID will expire on 24.04.2022", seems it can only be extended by the admin.

my intention is to use this s-id to connect with fellow developers on the SAP network.

can i make my s-id independent of any specific organization/employer ?

what if a sap tool developer has moved out of an organization and s-id is tagged to old organization , but that developer still wants to retain same s-id since so many discussion threads etc are answered etc and might have earned some medals etc.

Hi,

You can create an Universal ID account and link your s-user to it, at least on its FAQ you would retain your "community account", even after s-user deletion.

S-users are bound to organizations, so if you can't ask organization administrator to extend its period your only choice is linking to Universal ID before it expires (don't know if you can link during "expired -> awaiting deletion" phase).
