Greetings Builders!

Have you recently joined us from the AppGyver Community Edition migration? Here is a short guide to help you get started here in the SAP Builders Group – our new home for all things SAP Build Apps, and the SAP Build low-code community. Before you get started with these steps, be sure to join the Builders Group so you can connect with us and start sharing discussions!

As a reminder: The Builders Group here in SAP Community is open for everyone interested in the SAP Build low-code portfolio. This includes SAP Build Apps, SAP Build Process Automation and SAP Build Work Zone. SAP Community also includes Groups and Topic Pages for a wide variety of other products in the SAP ecosystem.

SAP Community has also recently migrated to a new home, so we hope you understand while we continue to streamline things here for our awesome community. 😊 We will continue to update this post as the new community evolves.

Update 27.3.2024: We know many users have been experiencing issues with the new SAP Community. Feel free to reach out to us with specific feedback and we can help guide you, or pass the feedback to the Community team.

Here's how you can use the Group to:

  1. Share technical questions
  2. Report feature bugs
  3. Create blogs to share learnings

👉 Recently we released a new version of our Community Edition tool. If you haven't already, you can sign up here for the new Community Edition.

1. Share technical questions/discussions in the SAP Builders Group

You’re reading this blog post on the SAP Builders Group, the hub for all discussions around our SAP Build portfolio. You can use this group to share blog posts and start discussions about SAP Build Apps, including the Community Edition (formerly the AppGyver Community Edition).

Here in the Group, you can post all your technical questions about SAP Build Apps. To see what other users are posting about, check out the discussions board.

👉 To ask a technical question: we recommend using the option Start a Discussion.

Be sure to mention you are using the community version of SAP Build Apps and include SAP Build Apps under the managed tags.

SAP Community also features a Technology Q&A page where you can submit questions. We will continue to monitor both areas for SAP Build Apps related questions, however the Discussions board is a more centralized location to connect with other SAP Builders and our team.

2. Reporting feature bugs and workarounds

Since we are also no longer using Tracker for bug reporting, you can use the Discussion board to share any feature bugs you might encounter.

👉 To report a bug: Follow the same steps as above for asking a question (Start a Discussion), tag SAP Build Apps, and add the label "Features (bugs) and Workarounds":

3. Celebrate your wins/learnings with blogs

Now with the new Group, you can also share your learnings in one place in addition to your technical questions! Blog posts in the SAP Builders Group are an excellent platform for sharing your journey with the vast SAP Developer community around the world.

Check out this great example from  about his journey with the Community edition: Building visually compelling applications within the SAP Build Apps environment: My Journey

Hi @EsmeeX 🤗

I have to take the test, however, I'd like to ask the question: With the previous SAP Community, writing a blog for the first time meant going through a review by a moderator, who could tell you which aspects of the post required modification.

Does it remain in this new SAP Community?

Kind regards,

Erick

Hi @erickgomez-tech

yes, that is correct. In the Technology Blogs by Members new bloggers may have their posts go through community moderation.

Here in the group, curators like Esmeé and myself may need to review posts prior to publication.

Hi @EsmeeX

I missed the deadline of migration, is there still a way to recover the old apps from appgyver to the new SAP? I'm still using the same e-mail from before.

Hello @EsmeeX , I am experiencing the same issue as @Andre1 where I am unable to log in to SAP Build App using my AppGyver credentials. Would it be possible to recover the old apps from Appgyver to the new SAP?

Frankly the WORSE experience ever as a new user, the UI is confusing i need to subscribe to a topic to comment it (????????????????????), everything is different and worse

SAP a billion dollar company did everything worse than it could, sad to see a perfect nocode solution become another failure in SAP's hands....

Hi @Fadhilah I have sent you a private message with further instructions.

To everyone else reading, as of now - we have closed access to the old community version. It is a manual effort to keep it running. Please continue your work with the new community tool.

@Josephrezende I have responded to your feedback on your latest post in the group, but please as a reminder, let's keep the discussions here as civil as possible.

Hi @Mihu_  - we are working on a solution to make the old forum content available here in the new groups. While we prepare this, can you let me know if there's a particular topic you're searching for?

Good day, @EsmeeX

I wanted to let you know that I was not able to access the link you provided in private message because it had already expired. May I request you to kindly resend the link? Your kind assistance in this regard would be highly appreciated, and if it's possible, I would like to request around 24 hours to access the link. Once again, thank you for your help.

HI @EsmeeX ,

Is it possible to bring back the old Appgyver forum by removing the URL redirecting until you have a solution to migrate it to SAP? The information on the search result in the new forum usually are not relevant.

Thank you.
