Career switch from Oil and gas maintenance to SAP

Hi,

I have around 16 years of experience in oil and gas maintenance field. I have been an end user in SAP PM and MM modules for around 11 years. I want to switch my career to SAP.

Anyone please suggest which module certification should i take? Like SAP IS Oil, SAP PM, SAP MM etc

Has anyone been in my situation and successfully switched careers?

There are multiple consulting firms that focus on SAP and the Oil & Gas industries, I would start with looking on their job openings, as your industry knowledge might be valuable.

As in any career switch, I think that you should be willing to accept more junior positions or lower compensation to start with.
