Last July we have started an SAP Continuous Influence session dedicated to SAP S/4HANA Utilities, as the single channel to collect your suggestions for improvements related to SAP S/4HANA Utilities:

A bit more than half a year after launching the session, I am pleased to present a status update on that SAP Continuous Influence session dedicated to the utilities industry:
As of 16 Feb 2024, we have a total of 48 improvement requests (IR) in our session:
5 IRs have already been delivered:
- IR 308110 - Mark/identify service providers as obsolete/unusable
- IR 308111 - EPRODCUST: extension of IS-U master data templates
- IR 307337 - Regenerate load profiles despite exitsting billings
- IR 306201 - SAP t-code EA22 to view Bill documents from archival call
- IR 315621 - System-Id and Client in Fiori Launchpad Title
4 IRs have been accepted for development and are planned to be delivered in Q1/2024:
- IR 304589 - Full Device Replacement Reversal Process (new transaction)
- IR 304691 - Record the requirement for value replacement for all EDM imports
- IR 307543 - Request Test Mode for BAPI_ISUPROFILE_IMPORT
- IR 310314 - Enable the Meter Reading Result to use the GOS (Object MTRREADDOC)
5 more IRs have been accepted for development and are currently in execution.
2 IRs have 7 or more votes and are close to be reviewed (threshold 10 votes).
16 IRs are in status „Acknowledged”.
16 IRs have status “not planned”, and we had to reject most of them because they are out of scope for session SAP S/4HANA Utilities. We would like to recap that within this session dedicated to the utilities industry, we can only acknowledge and accept such IRs that are related to the utilities-industry specific part of SAP S/4HANA. We have moved several IRs to a suitable session listed in this blog.
A big thank you to all improvement request owners and other contributors for their active participation in our SAP Continuous Influence Session so far! Please continue to do so – by submitting your own ideas or by voting for improvement requests already submitted by your peers. Keep in mind that such improvement requests that have not been reached the required threshold of 10 votes within 12 months will be rejected automatically, so please be encouraged to validate and prioritize the important ones from your point of view.
