Can we use $AJAX method call from my Fiori App to the Api deployed in API Management?

I am using $AJAX method call to access the data from APIs that I have deployed in API mangement portal and its working as desired. Can i use that approach or not?

check out the nice blog here : https://blogs.sap.com/2017/03/13/how-to-consume-an-odata-service-with-jquery/ in whitch you can find samples to call an oData Interface with the $.ajax methode. Yes it should work also with the API deployed at the API Business Hub Enterprise page.
