which certification for ABAP On HANA? E_HANAAW_17 or C_S4HDEV1909 ?

Hello folks,

Was going through available certifications for ABAP On HANA skillset. SAP Learning hub shows both these certifications and these two looks similar , (may be C_S4HDEV1909 have BTP extra).

Which one anyone should choose considering future proof? There was some discussion befor on this, but nothing on recent times. are these two still valid?

Hi @krisgell,

If you are a ABAP Developer, it would be a good way to start certification from C_TAW12_750 and later C_S4HDEV1909. Given the point that everything is evolving towards S4, B4, C4, so are the certifications getting updated to those names. Also sometimes a particular certification might come & be availavle to certain time & later vanish forever. The below link contains all available certifications,
