I can honestly say it exceeded my expectations by a thousand! The following years, though different, were just as amazing. The first way to describe this year’s SAP TechEd may be in terms of who will join us where. SAP TechEd in 2022 will be mostly virtual, with a small in-person event in Las Vegas (The Mirage, I know… flashbacks, right?), focused heavily on hands-on workshops. This experience is called SAP TechEd Hands-On Lab. We’re still living in a hybrid world, so our goal is to deliver focused sessions in the best way possible. It turns out some sessions really are great to watch at home in your slippers, with your dog on your lap and your coffee in your own mug. 100+ on-demand lectures and breakouts allow you to do just that. Expect focused sessions that are demo-heavy with an outside-in perspective. We know you want to see stuff in action and hear from SAP customers and partners in their own words. We’ve got you covered. Sometimes you want to roll up your sleeves and dive deep. We get it. We’ve missed that too! For those ready to jump back in, we’ve planned a small, in-person experience in Las Vegas, centered around about 40 hands-on workshops and a Developer Hub for some much-needed community socializing. Hands-on workshops are two hours each and include interactive coding with expert-led exercises and in-person support. The Developer Hub returns with “Meet the Experts” opportunities, Community Talks, and an old school Hackathon (yeah!). We’re all looking forward to reconnecting with old friends and meeting new folks in the Hub. Act fast: registration to the Las Vegas event is first-come, first-served!
