Our SAP Women in Tech Team got the opportunity to have a look inside our SAP Pop Up Factory which is part of our 4.0 Industry Center. We got to see digital production processed by our SAP systems. It was fascinating to realize how fast and efficiently our 4.0 innovative Industry solutions can work and what this could mean for huge industry companies worldwide.
The Pop Up Factory in the Industry 4.0 Center Walldorf offers visitors the opportunity to experience end-to-end processes from both the discrete and the process industry firsthand. With an area of more than 500m2, you will be guided through the possibilities of digital production.
The tour was shown as an example of liquid concentrate production. Starting from the Design of a discrete unit to batch production. At the end of our guided tour, and within only 10 minutes, we produce an SAP blue liquid which we all gathered around to take a picture with.
