SAP Ariba Category Management: Support for Two-Level Cost Structure Components in SAP Ariba Category Management.

This feature allows category managers to use two-level cost structure components. They can now add and remove cost structure components and use decimal values when defining the percentage for cost structure components. By setting up a two-level cost structure, category managers can analyze the cost structure components at a granular level.

SAP Ariba Category Management: Enhancements to Mapping Between the Initiative and Associated Guided Sourcing Project Fields

This feature introduces a mapping between the Baseline Spend / Currency field of a category initiative and the Baseline Spend field of the guided sourcing project. When a category manager creates a guided sourcing project from an initiative, the value for the Baseline Spend field of the guided sourcing project is auto-filled with the value of the Baseline Spend / Currency field of the initiative. Category managers can save time and ensure accuracy by automatically transferring data between the guided sourcing project created and their corresponding their category initiatives.

SAP Ariba Sourcing: Enable Autofill Functionality with System Performance Enhancements for Material Quote Events in Product Sourcing.

This feature helps streamlining the material sourcing quote creation process by integrating autofill capabilities while optimizing system performance. This means less time spent on manual data entry and more time for strategic decision-making.

SAP Ariba Sourcing: Ability to Select the Product Questionnaires to be included in the Supplier Response Report.

This feature offers buyers the choice to select the most suitable product questionnaires in the Event Supplier Response Report. This means you have the power to tailor your reports to your specific needs, making your sourcing process more efficient and effective.

SAP Ariba Sourcing: Ability to Create Survey Events in Guided Sourcing Projects.

This feature allows you to create survey events seamlessly, either by using the Create→Document option or from the survey template in the project. This will lead to better-informed buying decisions, based on surveys in your Guided Sourcing project.

SAP Ariba Sourcing: Status synchronization between Guided Sourcing Events and SAP Business Network Discovery Postings.

Now, when a guided sourcing event stops, the associated SAP Business Network Discovery posting automatically closes. This ensures accurate sourcing event status, keeping your sourcing process transparent and reliable.

SAP Ariba Sourcing: Enhancement to Bid Comparison Report.

Another feature we're excited about. Bid comparison reports now include a new column for item descriptions, enabling better-informed awarding decisions. This means you can make more strategic decisions based on comprehensive information.

SAP Ariba Sourcing Integration with SAP Sustainability Footprint Management.

This feature enables buyers to collect carbon footprint data from supplier responses and send that data to SAP Sustainability Footprint Management. This means you can increase efficiency by automatically capturing product-level carbon information from supplier responses, contributing to your sustainability goals.

We're excited about these new features and we believe they will bring significant value to your sourcing process. Stay tuned for more updates and enhancements in the future.
