Batch Split during picking from warehouse for production order

Hi All,

We have a production order with finished material ABC and component XYZ, where both the material are serial and batch managed.

We are using control cycle for the component to be picked and moved to PSA location, so on release of production order we do WM staging which generates a pick request in EWM.

We require 10 quantities for XYZ, we have 2 batches batch1 with 6 quantity and batch2 with 4, when we create a warehouse task using pick request we get 2 tasks one for picking batch1 & other for picking batch2.

Once we do the picking and confirm the task the delivery is stuck in que as there is some issue for batch split wherein we are not able to confirm the delivery, resulting in no goods issue.

Error in SMQ2 - Serial no. maintenance only possible if you specify a batch/val. type

Can anyone help me understand what are we missing.

Where you are getting this error in ECC after posting GI or in EWM during GI

I am getting this error at the time of Picking and after confirming the warehouse task the deliver is stuck in SMQ2 and we get this error.
