liveCache: Heap memory is configured too small resulting into LCA processing errors

Hello

The Early watch alert of my SAP SCM system shows this:

  1. liveCache: Heap memory is configured too small resulting into LCA processing errors
  2. liveCache: the data cache consumes a high amount of memory.

I checked all livecache parameters by MaxDB Studio filtering in the search box by "heap" and show me the parameters in the attached image:

Are these the parameters to increase?

I found this:

I:\sapdb\PLC\data\wrk\PLC\analyzer\20220922\DBAN.prt

This is the parameter that i must to increase.

Hello Marco,

Yes, OmsMaxHeapSize is the related parameter for "Heap memory is configured too small resulting into LCA processing errors".

For "liveCache: the data cache consumes a high amount of memory.", the related parameter is CacheMemorySize(CACHE_SIZE).

You can go though SAP note for the setting recommendations.

Hello Jiajia thank you for your response.

I only increased the parameter 0msMaxHeapSize with 5gb more and the Early Watch Alert doesn´t show the warning anymore.

The Livecache server has 135 gb ram, and the CacheMemorySize parameter is set in 12182538, but the monitoring view shows only 95.176,08 MB. So i don't understand.

Marco
