SAP IBP Excel add-in error when copying sheet in template - Path/File access error

When trying to copy sheet in Template using "copy current sheet" option I get the error :

Microsoft Visual Basic for Applications - Path/File access error - IBP error: we couldn't copy this sheet.

What can be the reason? Before this option worked.

Is this problem only with one particular template or with other templates too?

Hi Halyna,

Check if you have a valid path defined on the following Excel menus:

Excel => Options => Save => "Default local file location"

File path for workbooks location under the main IBP Add-in Settings.

Hi Halyna,

Is not that they need to be the same, but they need to be valid paths. In case you have a network path for which the add-in does not have access to, for instance, this error could happen.

Thank you, Ivan! Both paths were actually valid, but I have cleared folder, that is indicated in main IBP settings and the problem went away.
