Shipping type missing in SAP TM

Hi All,

from where shipping type field under the terms and condition tab is update in a FO. In my case it is showing blank whereas MOD already maintain.

assuming you simply create your FO/FB by hand/cockpit.

For Ocean/Air where the shipping type is critical to determine if your freight must be containerized or not it can be defined in customizing and will be taken over from there into the document.

For Freight Orders the value is filled manually if required. The shipping type in Freight orders, is not so widly used mainly for the reason that optimizer is working on MTRs rather than shipping types, so to have a direct integration of optimizer output into the document and than in the next step agreement/cost determination often MTR is used.

I am facing issue in FO where MTR already maintain. Can you please just let me know how this shipping type is determine in FO.

As written above, no automatic determination in standard. Has to be filled manually if required.
