Strategy profile

I have a location and product - In which screen (in which T code) do i assign   strategy profile for the Location product , Can you Please help on this

The strategy profile maintenance is done at transaction /SPRO (customizing).

Then the menu expansion depends on the SAP product version. But usually this is the path:

Click in the 'clock' button to run it, then you can create new entries or copy existing ones.

When working with user-specific profiles, you enter a Customizing ID in the profile maintenance. If you are working with general profiles, you leave this empty.

If you want to perform scheduling using your own user-specific settings, you should create profiles with your user name in profile maintenance as a Customizing ID. (The user name is the name with which you log on to the system).

The system automatically uses the user-specific profiles - if they exist - in the product planning board and order view (otherwise, it uses the general profiles). You can specify any profiles you want if you call up the detailed scheduling planning board directly.

This is described in the F1 help from the system.

Thanks yasmin for your valuable reply- I have a point to make - if I fix a strategy at two places - one at SPRO Level and other at user specific settings level- while running a scheduling problem which will take precedence or which will level will be considered for run

It depends on what is this scheduling function and where this will run.

When opening the DS Planning Board, the profile with your user ID will have priority over other profiles. But the usage of this profile will depend on heuristic settings and product version of your software.
