Demonstrate Advance Shipping and Receiving (Planning and Execution) using Unified Package Building with example (Warehouse Driven Execution) and important setup. Example: Flexible Packing and exchange info between systems (TMS and WMS)
Short Story: Intially Cargo is planned to build 5 Pallets via transportation planning, however Smart Warehouse manager consolidated things into 4 pallets for XYZ reasons...:). And good thing is system is allowing such processes. It could be vice versa example Planned 4 pallets but actual built 5 pallets. This is not fixed only for pallet and can be used for different packaging cage pallet, roll container, crate...etc
*Screens are modified and made colourful by SAP Screen Personas with Fiori APP.
Note : Steps shown in the above video are not actual end user processes. Example- 1. SAP EWM-Picking should be done via SAP RF or Third Party system (ASRS) or Desktop based actual business need and same is applicable for packing, staging, loading...etc 2. SAP TM- Statues (Truck Arrival, Check in, despatch, Check out, loading...etc) are updated by third party integration or SAP EM or SAP TM Manual ...etc.
