SAP HANA Analytics Certification Exam Process in a nutshell

This blog is intended for those Students and SAP Analytics Professionals who want to attend an SAP Certification soon and stay current with their SAP Certification.

This blog will make their selection process easier & quicker. Hence Bookmark this blog link for future use.

There are in total 6 Questions to be answered to reach a conclusion with only  1 Prerequisite.

1 Prerequisite - You must have an SAP User Id (P- or S- User ID) and registration complete in the SAP Learning Hub Portal - Learning Hub Registration

6 Questions -

Question 1) Which level of Certification do I want to pursue?

Question 2) Which set of Certifications do I want to avail?

Question 3) What is the Certification path SAP Provides for this, if any?

Question 4) How many Certifications I am going to attend and the time duration to subscribe?

Question 5) Where can I find the documents to read now?

Question 6) Where can I find the Valid, Updated Certificate Lists and Details for the same?

 

Question 1) - Which level of Certification do I want to pursue?

Answer 1) - There are 3 levels -

I) Fundamental Level - This is not a certification level, this is only to upgrade your skills, adding a record of achievement by successfully completing all quizzes of an SAP Learning Journey.

II) Intermediate level - This again contains two types of Certifications

a) Associate certification - Covers fundamental knowledge requirements of broad SAP solution knowledge and skills.

b) Specialist certification - This certification level focuses on a specific role or integration component in addition to an associate certification.

III) Advanced level  - Requires proven project experience, business process knowledge, and a more detailed understanding of SAP solutions. Choose one of your levels by considering

• If you want to concentrate on the Fundamental level where you can go through different documents available in SAP Learning Hub and pass some quizzes to acquire any fundamental knowledge before applying for any real certification. Then Fundamental level is suitable for you and now you can come out of this blog and proceed with your learning right away.


• If you are now strong in your fundamental levels, please check the Intermediate level of certification like associate certification where you can acquire an SAP Certification on a specific skill or on a Broad SAP Solution provided for a specific purpose.


• If you want to pursue an SAP Certification specific to your company job role and responsibility or any specific tool or integration component, then you can apply for the specialist certificate.


• If you understand that you are having proven project experience, business process knowledge, and a more detailed understanding of SAP solutions then the Advanced Certification process is the best suit for you.

Finalize the level of certification you want to achieve and proceed to the next Question 2.

II) SAP HANA.

Courses to complete - HA150, HA300, HA450
C_HANAIMP_18 - SAP Certified Application Associate - SAP HANA 2.0 SPS06 - Details
Courses to complete - HA100, HA300
C_HANATEC_18 - SAP Certified Technology Associate - SAP HANA 2.0 SPS06 - Details
Courses to complete - HA100, HA200, HA201, HA215,HA250

III) SAP HANA CLOUD.

C_HCDEV_03 - SAP Certified Development Associate - SAP HANA Cloud 1.0 - Details

C_HCMOD_03 - SAP Certified Application Associate - SAP HANA Cloud Modelling -  Details
Courses to complete - HC100E, HC300E
C_HCADM_02 - SAP Certified Technology Associate - SAP HANA Cloud Provisioning and Administration - Details
Courses to complete - HC100E, HC200E

IV) SAP Analytics Cloud.

C_SACP_2221 - SAP Certified Application Associate - SAP Analytics Cloud: Planning - Details
Courses to complete - SACP20, SACP30
C_SAC_2221 - SAP Certified Application Associate - SAP Analytics Cloud - Details
Courses to complete - SAC01, SACMS1

V) SAP BW on HANA.

Courses to complete - BW305H, BW310H, BW330H, BW350H

Finalize any single certification or set of certifications you want to pursue then you can directly jump to Question 4,else you can also check Question 3 for the certification path for more details before finalizing.

Note- Before finalizing the Course please go to Question 6 and check the Updated Version of the Certifications which is the latest certification version from SAP to attend.

 

Question 3) - What is the Certification path SAP Provides for this if any?

Answer 3) - Please find the below useful links to dig into the complete certification path of the course provided by SAP.

If you have already been certified in the given paths, you can check some open-SAP source material to be updated with the skills or can stay updated with your certification validity by applying for delta certifications.

Question 4) - How many Certifications I am going to attend and the time duration to subscribe?

• Buy an online subscription, with one exam attempt within 12 months - Details

Question 5) - Where can I find the documents to read now?

Answer 5) - Please visit SAP Learning Hub - Learning Hub.

Search with the code given in the course to complete the section of Question 2. You can use either the E-learning or you can use the E-Book to read through, to prepare yourself for the Certification examination.

 

Question 6) - Where can I find the valid, updated certificate lists and details for the same?

Answer 6) - You can find the list of SAP Valid, Updated Version Certifications and Details for your disposal - Latest Version of the SAP Certifications List

I noticed that there is no further information for cloud related courses such as HC100E, HC300E.

Do you happen to know why? Will there be new upcoming courses?

Since the links were not available in https://training.sap.com/certification/validity , I didn't update in the first place. I will update these soon.

You can always find these courses in SAP Learning hub by searching HC100 , HC300 and HC450.
