Here are some useful checks during EHP/SP implementation.

1. How to identify manually implemented advanced corrections (SAP Note) in the system?
SAP Notes downloaded and applied via SNOTE are stored in tables CWBNTHEAD (header) and CWBNTCUST (status).  You may use table CWBNTCOMP which is a view of the two tables.

2. How to identify SAP Notes implemented via EHP/SP import?
SAP Notes implemented via EHP/SP import (ie. Software Update Manager) are found in table OCSPATNTCI.  You can check the corresponding support package for each SAP Note.

3. How to check Software Component release, SP level and Support Package?
• Go to Status > Component

• Use table CVERS

4. How to run mass syntax check during upgrades?
It’s recommended to run this during the technical Discovery or development upgrade.  The tool will capture repository objects with “syntax errors” that could have been affected by the upgrade or incorrect adjustments.  This will help you proactively address the “SYNTAX ERROR” before you start your test cycle.

Execute tcode REDSRS01 or SE38 > RFREDSRS01.
