What's new with workforce planning business content?

A very important part of planning is the ability to close the loop by turning insights into actions. You can now do just that with the write-back feature of the xP&A HXM Workforce Planning content. The new feature allows planners to use the new positions they planned in SAP Analytics Cloud to automatically create new positions in SAP SuccessFactors.

The business process

In the original content, a hiring manager or HR business partner could create new positions to fill the gaps between available resources and required resources (aka supply and demand). This was great to quickly view the financial impact these new positions would have on the operational plan! But these new positions then needed to be manually created in SAP SuccessFactors to kick off the recruitment process, which meant manual rework.

The latest content release provides a new write-back feature that leverages the power of SAP to avoid this rework by bringing the plan and the execution closer together. With a few simple clicks, new positions that are planned in SAP Analytics Cloud can be automatically created in SAP SuccessFactors. The newly created positions include key data like Job Function, Pay Grade, Location and others to avoid rework and ensure the recruitment process can start as quickly as possible.

The technical side

We leverage the SAP Analytics Cloud Data Export Service API, and use the power of SAP Cloud Integration service for data services to connect the SAP Analytics Cloud plan to SAP SuccessFactors.

Hi Dominik.

This sounds very promising.

Unfortunately the embedded video isn't showing - is it possible to fix it?

Thanks,
