Customers are starting to future-proof their integration scenarios by moving to the cloud and migrating their SAP Process Orchestration systems to the SAP Integration Suite. As you may be aware, earlier this year SAP released their SAP Assessment and Migration Tools to support migration projects.

Through the tools customers have a good overview on your integration content in their SAP Process Orchestration systems with a rough estimation of the effort to move to SAP Integration Suite. Also, customers may identify some scenarios they would like to migrate and start directly with the Migration tool.

However, there may be some critical integration scenarios that customers would like to test prior to migration to understand the performance and resource consumption under load so that issues can be resolved prior to go-live. For this SAP has created a new use for the below service currently in pilot through the SAP Enterprise Support Advisory Council (ESAC) program.

The Continuous Quality Check Interface Management (CQC IFM) service helps SAP Enterprise Support customers to optimize the return on their investment in SAP cloud applications by investigation and analysis of specific interfaces. In this case we have created a new use called Test as a Service (TaaS).

The service helps to minimize potential risks during critical go-lives as well as during the operations phase of your solution and to increase technical stability, performance, throughput, and maintainability of your solution.

During the service, customers will receive:

  • Investigation on specific integration scenarios prior to go-live to understand the performance and resource consumption under load so that issues can be resolved prior to go-live.

  • Recommendations for the specified interfaces to provide an optimal interface configuration.

Prerequisites for the service include access to Cloud Integration tenant as per SAP KBA 3164577 and a sample payload for each scenario in the form of a Postman collection.

For further information or if you would like to be considered as a pilot customer for this service, please reach out to esac@sap.com.
