TechEd 2023 truly showcased this, rolling out a significant update to SAP’s Database as a Service offering: With a planned GA in Q1 2024 a vector engine will be included in SAP HANA Cloud, once again strengthening the database’s multi-model capabilities. During the executive keynote by Juergen Mueller, project specialist Sabrina Pfeffer gave a very valuable demo of SAP HANA Cloud’s vector store.
