For many of our SAP lines of business, we have private partner-only delivery groups within SAP Community, tailored exclusively for SAP partners like you!  In this blog, we give you the tips and tricks on how to get started, highlight the key advantages of joining and utilizing private partner-only delivery groups (PDGs), and showcase some top resources available to you.

Pros of joining an SAP Partner Delivery Group:

To access partner groups in the SAP Community, follow these steps or use a quick link below:

*Prerequisite: To access SAP Community groups, a partner must have either an SAP Universal ID.

  1. Log in to the SAP Community: Sign into your SAP account by navigating to the SAP Community homepage and clicking on "Log On" at the top right of the page: https://community.sap.com/

  2. Navigate to the Partner area: Within the SAP Community homepage, look for the "Groups" tab at the top navigation bar and select “All Groups”. Select your relevant group under “Partner Groups”.

  3. Browse and request to join partner groups: Within the partner area, you will find various private and public partner groups relevant to your line of business or interests. To join a specific partner group, click on the group's name, and then click on "Request to Join" or "Join Group" button on the group's page.

  4. Customize your experience: Customize your SAP Community experience by managing your group memberships, updating your user profile, setting up content subscriptions, and more. Visit your account settings or user profile page to make these adjustments.


Note: To provision a Universal ID, please follow these steps: (1) Visit the SAP Universal ID website, (2) sign up for an account using your company email, and (3) link your existing S-user ID to your new Universal ID.

Hi Community,

One of my customer has the following ask.

In SuccessFactors once manager will get terminated from the system, the Reportees under him will get directly assigned to the next level manager if manager is choosing transfer direct Reportees.

While importing termination details the supervisor does not get updated in system.

Can we check the feasibility of the same ,so by importing termination details of supervisor the reportees under him will get directly assigned to the next level manager.

Hi Community,

One of my customer has the following ask.

In system if employee is in his notice period , until his last working day his/her employee status shows "Active".

So those are serving notice period, for them the employee status should get changed to "Serving notice period" instead of  "Active" in job information automatically.

Hi Community,

One of my customer has the following ask.

Can employee withdraw resignation after final approval of the workflow is done in SuccessFactors?

For example- Employee initiated resignation. It got approved by the approvers. Then employee wants to withdraw resignation after final approval. But he is unable to do so, only Admin can do it.

Hi Community,

One of my customer has the following ask.

Can we attach separate content for contributors for Exit mail in Manage Email configuration.

For example- When employee is initiating resignation- The mail is triggering to HR, Manager & all the No Dues clearance Spocs. But the content is same because we have kept them as a contributors so even if there is no approval the mail will trigger to all the contributors. As a system standard now we only can send one content to all the Contributors. Is there any feasibility of sharing different male to different contributors of the work flow.

Hi Community,

One of my customer has the following ask.

Right now only a particular day week off is available in the timesheet in SuccessFactors. But there are employees who can take 1week off or 2 week off in a week whenever they want to.

For e.g. one employee is having week off on Monday, but he decided to work on Monday & take week off on Tuesday. Then in that case he is having rotational week off as work schedule. But we are not having the option of rotational week off in time sheet. Is it possible to configure this so that employee can take weekly off whenever they want to. We need to create a roster that allows managers to have rotating weekly offs for their teams. This scenario is very common in all retail/call center companies.

Hi Community,

One of my customer has the following ask.

If an employee is getting terminated/ separated from system in mid of the month, then only till that month leave should get encashed. Annual leave is getting accrued 15 days at a bulk in the first month of the year. So while employee is initiating his resignation , the same balance is getting shown in employee profile. Is it possible to show the balance on the basis of the month when he will resign, because his balance is getting accrued in the first month of the year itself.

For example- If employee is initiating his resignation on October, then till October whatever will be the leave balance for annual leave(9 days) only that will get shown in employee profile in termination page, not 15 days.

Hi Community,

One of my customer has the following ask.

There are few Contributors for No dues workflow. When the separation of the employee will get initiated, No dues alert will get trigger to the Contributors & in Home Page they will be able to view the Alert to initiate the No dues for the particular employees.

We have tried to achieve the same through Alert but no alert is getting triggered. Is there any feasibility on the same?

Hi Community,

One of my customer has the following ask.

Once the confirmation form is launched as per the workflow confirmation status will be updated manually in the system, as per the workflow if the status is not updated in the particular timeline after that the status confirmation must be auto updated without manual intervention.

Is there any feasibility on the same, please let me know.
