SAP S/4HANA for statutory reporting: Como gerar e processar um relatório do statutory reporting utilizando a API Statutory Reporting Task

Olá pessoal,

Neste post vamos explicar como você pode gerar uma tarefa, verificar uma fase (e suas respectivas atividades), bem como gerar novos arquivos para os relatórios legais disponíveis para o Brasil através da API Statutory Reporting Task.

A statutory reporting é a solução nativa do SAP S/4HANA para a gestão de relatórios legais. Para conhecer mais detalhes sobre a solução, você pode consultar esse post SAP Solutions for Advanced Compliance Reporting: charting a successful adoption journey.

Uma das ferramentas da solução statutory reporting é o Fiori app Run Statutory Reports, onde os relatórios legais podem ser gerados e manipulados. Para conhecer melhor as funcionalidades dessa ferramenta, consulte o post Blog series on Run Compliance Reports: Introduction.

Até então, só era possível realizar a gestão dos relatórios legais acessando o Fiori launchpad e utilizando essa ferramenta. A partir de agora, também é possível realizar a gestão dos arquivos legais através da API Statutory Reporting Task.

Statutory Reporting Task

Nesta API é possível realizar as seguintes ações:

• Criar uma nova ad hoc task;


• Verificar as fases existentes de uma task;


• Verificar as atividades de uma determinada task;


• Criar uma nova Run (e consequentemente o relatório legal);


• Verificar os parâmetros utilizados na execução de uma Run preexistente.

Essas ações, por sua vez, podem ser realizadas através das entidades listadas abaixo:

A API foi construída utilizando ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP) e utiliza o protocolo OData V4, devido ao uso das mais novas tecnologias disponíveis. Atualmente, a API está disponível a partir da versão 2021 FPS01 do SAP S/4HANA (lançado em fevereiro de 2022).

SAP S/4HANA for statutory reporting: How to generate and process a statutory reporting report using the Statutory Reporting Task API

Hey everyone,

In this post, we will explain how you can generate a task, verify a phase (and its respective activities), as well generate new files for the legal reports available for Brazil with the Statutory Reporting Task API.

Statutory reporting is SAP S/4HANA's native solution for managing legal reports. For more details about the solution, you can check out this post about SAP Solutions for Advanced Compliance Reporting: charting a successful adoption journey.

One of the tools of the statutory reporting solution is the Fiori app Run Statutory Reports, where legal reports can be generated and manipulated. To learn more about the features of this tool, see the blog post Blog series on Run Compliance Reports: Introduction.

So far, it was only possible to manage legal reports by accessing Fiori launchpad and using this tool. From now on, it’s also possible to manage legal files using the Statutory Reporting Task API.

Statutory Reporting Task

With this API, you can perform the following actions:

• Create a new ad hoc task;


• Check the existing phases of a task;


• Check the activities of a given task;


• Create a new Run (and consequently the legal report);


• Check the parameters used in the execution of a preexisting Run.

These actions, in turn, can be carried out with the entities listed below:

This API was built using ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP) and uses the OData V4 protocol, due to the use of the newest technologies available. The API is currently available starting with SAP S/4HANA version 2021 FPS01 (released on February 2022).

Dear Alexandre

one question: can this feature help customers, if they do not have the 'fitting' currency key in the normal statutory reporting currency setup, talking here about local currencies LC1,2,3.

Can this solution help to use a different currency? E.g. free defined currencies in S/4H?

I mean: when you check this blog Multiple Valuation Approaches/Transfer Prices in SAP S/4 HANA – Implementation hints | SAP Blogs you see numerous variations how to setup LC1,2,3 for different customer intentions and business needs with respect to ML being active, and it is for sure hard to decide, if you opt only for Group Valuation, or only for Profit Center Valuation, or a mixture.

Very often, customers also need to fulfill legal requirements, that is where my question is coming from, if the free defined currency in S/4H and this feature can be used also for statutory reporting?
