We're delighted to inform you that SAP Build Work Zone, standard edition formerly referred to as the "SAP Launchpad service", is now generally available with a new site experience. This release comes with a range of latest functionalities based the Horizon visual theme for SAP Fiori. It offers new design time capabilities targeted to the content administrator. They can now create spaces and pages manually. Moreover, they can add UI integration cards and tiles. The end user has the capability to consume the pages and content of the pages in runtime.

We are thrilled to announce the official general availability of SAP Start - SAP’s new out of the box central entry point that aims to gives end users a powerful, yet simple, home page experience to navigate SAP´sentire portfolio of cloud solutions.
SAP Start, despite its distinct name, is part of SAP Build Work Zone product family and is built on the same technical foundation, making our central entry point options easily extendable based on your business needs. Having achieved significant milestones with the unification of formerly SAP Launchpad service and SAP Work Zone into one solution of SAP Build Work Zone, and the general availability of SAP Start, we continue building on this progress together with our customers.

Furthermore, we have exciting new enhancements from SAP Build Work Zone, advanced edition. We are happy to announce the availability of our integration with SAP Build Process Automation. It is now included in SAP SuccessFactors solution bundle and is also available with the initial setup of SAP Build Work Zone, advanced edition. We have enhanced both product boosters to reflect this initial setup to include SAP Build Process Automation.

The flexibility of working with widgets in homepages and work pages has been greatly increased. Widgets can now be sourced from external and private workspaces in addition to public workspaces and connect to the external facing homepage content section. 👇
Moreover, the flexibility of empty widget feature has been expanded and now it can dynamically hide or show scenarios when content doesn’t have to be displayed. This feature applies to UI integration cards in SAP Build Work Zone, advanced edition and SAP SuccessFactors Work Zone.
