SAP Build Process Automation is an SAP BTP service that allows citizen developers to adapt, improve, and innovate business processes with low-code/no-code capabilities. The solution helps business users to adapt, improve, and innovate their critical business processes. Using visual features that require no coding expertise, even non-technical workers can complete standard development tasks faster so business can become more agile. By combining workflow management, robotic process automation (RPA), and embedded AI capabilities, SAP Build Process Automation helps to scale process automation to meet changing business needs. Professional developers can deliver results faster and respond to new requirements with greater agility. They can also use development tools to create comprehensive workflows and automations that can be packaged for business users to adopt in their projects. The solution offers native integration to other SAP offerings, prebuilt process content that includes RPA bots for SAP applications, and AI-assisted intelligent document processing. Built on an enterprise-grade platform, SAP Build Process Automation can help customers innovate with greater speed and simplicity.

As you may be aware, one of the ways we empower our customers is via delivery of Expert Guided Implementation (EGI) services. These are multi-hour remote delivered session, powered by SAP Enterprise Support Academy and delivered over 3-5 working days. In short, this is a Virtual Classroom style session, where an SAP expert explains step-by-step the configuration of a set objective using training materials and step-by-step demonstration.

To help customers get started with SAP Build Process Automation, we have developed this 5 day Expert Guided Implementation (EGI) service. The purpose of this EGI service is to ramp-up customers to understand and adopt SAP Build Process Automation. In the first step, we give an overview of process automation in the context of SAP Build. Afterwards we showcase the capabilities of SAP Build Process Automation and customers learn how to create workflows, decision management, and task automation with powerful yet intuitive no-code capabilities through the configuration of a specific business process to approve Sales Orders automatically.

Customer requirements to obtain the best value from the service is to have a SAP BTP trial or productive account, subscription to SAP Process Automation and with a Windows Machine with Administration rights for installation. Also, it would be beneficial for participants to have experience in developing business processes and have a basic knowledge of SAP BTP in advance of the service.
We have just published the next delivery dates for Q2 2024 for the EGI service:
