Integration is the backbone of any intelligent enterprise: To turn data into meaningful insight, enterprises need a holistic integration of data, technology, and business processes. To help its customers to become intelligent enterprises SAP aims at delivering an integrated intelligent suite along end-to-end key processes.

Intelligent Suite

The whitepaper Intelligent Enterprises Are Integrated Enterprises describes the key building blocks and concepts of this strategy, including recent integration highlights and roadmap plans:

In order to deliver the next level of detail and latest information we have launched an SAP Community call series about the SAP integration strategy at the beginning of this year. This blog post summarizes the first part of this series: After an introductory webinar to the building blocks and key concepts of SAP’s integration strategy (replay, presentation, blog post) we walked through all suite qualities one by one.

Recap of H1/2021

Suite qualities serve as technical building plan for SAP’s intelligent suite of seamlessly integrated applications with an end-to-end process integration. The scope of suite qualities addresses all integration styles such as process, data, user experience, analytics and more:

Suite Qualities

For the ones of you who missed to join the webinars you can find the replays, presentations and blog posts listed below. Kindly note that we have spilt the suite quality of embedded and cross product analytics into two webinars.

How to establish a consistent identity access management

The journey to utilize SAP cloud solutions is usually not a big-bang, but a stepwise integration of new SaaS applications into an existing landscape. In this session we will have a look at SAP’s IAM solutions Identity Authentication and Identity Provisioning that support this integration journey.

We will have a look at various ways to establish single sign-on and how to migrate users with local passwords to a central IAM service. How to best harmonize user identifiers when different cloud solutions integrate with central foundation services like a central audit log or workflow inbox? Large enterprises often utilize cloud solutions in different regions in the world. What should be considered for such complex landscape setups? Finally, we will share an outlook how to protect system-to-system communication with a consistent security concept avoiding the complexity of point-to-point trust configurations.
