Updated Roadmaps Available
The updated roadmaps for SAP Build Work Zone, standard and advanced edition are now available for Q3 and Q4 2023. You can find them in the Roadmap Explorer:

In the second half of 2023 the focus will be a new site experience for SAP Build Work Zone, standard edition. Starting in 2022, SAP released a set of beta features related to the new site experience as part of a beta program with selected customers and partners to collect early feedback on the new UX design, concepts and tools. Going forward, SAP is planning to gradually make these beta features available for general adoption by customers starting in Q3/2023, in particular the following capabilities:

  • ability to create and administer your own custom spaces and pages in the content manager

  • flexible grid-based page layout and design, which is aligned with the experience known from Work Zone, advanced edition

  • visualizing business data with powerful UI integration cards on pages

  • consuming content based on content packages

Update (from July 27, 2023): Meanwhile the new site experience started to become available: read this blog post for more information.

Sunset of SAP Neo Environment and SAP Cloud Portal Service
SAP announced that the legacy Neo environment of SAP Business Technology Platform will sunset on December 31, 2028. Existing customer investments in the Neo environment and related services can remain in place until the sunset of the services on December 31, 2028. SAP intends to work with customers to provide support for migrations including best practice documentation for migration projects and execution, and guidance to help lower migration costs.
Customers running SAP Cloud Portal Service on the Neo environment are affected by this decision. We recommend in this case a migration to SAP Build Work Zone standard or advanced edition.

Before starting to migrate your scenario, get in touch with the SAP BTP migration experts to create an individual roadmap for your transition and plan your next steps.
