AXIS Adapter - Edit Log Configuration Locations

I am following the SAP Note 1039369 FAQ XI Axis Adapter.

Q: Which components are relevant for generating a debug trace output?

I am looking to be able to trace WSS4J in an Axis scenario with XML signature. The FAQ document explains that I need to add entries to the log-configuration.xml in the Axis SDA.

However, I don't know where is that file located. I have tried placing the example file provided in the FAQ in the META-INF folder of the com.sap.aii.af.axisproviderlib.sda and redeploy it to PI, but that doens't seem to work.

Besides, the Trace Locations in the NWA seems broken:

That <unknownclass> entry is very weird but I don't really know if it was there before.

I am not able to find any proper explanation about the XML file and how to add those entries.
