BW/4 Performance decrease in DTP load

Hi SCN community!

We have recently migrated a client from SAP BWonHANA 7.5 to BW/4 HANA 2021 SP05 and investigated some really hard performance decrease when loading via DTPs either from (ODP) source systems or even within BW from infoprovider to another infoprovider : We already checked SCN article Upgrade BW4HANA 2.0 - DTP load slow performance incl. the links and activities mentioned in the comments.

In particular we are wondering about one particular step, "Prepare for Extraction" which never took so much more time than the execution itself: Just a 1:1 mapping in transformation, no start or end-routine or anything else hungry for performance.

Below the screenshots of examples: Still, we face this performance issue in most data loads, not just these kind of combination data source and aDSO.

Can you reduce the package size and try

Hi varun.sawant , thanks for your feedback: Unfortunately no effect, if reducing (or increasing) the package size, still most performance lost in the DTPR step "Prepare for Extraction", which was not before on BWonHANA
