Deployment from VS code to On-premise SAP system gives Error

Good Day,

I generated a List Object App using the Fiori Application Generator in VS code.

I am trying to deploy it to a 1909 On-premise SAP system.

It fails with the error: :Error [ERR_SOCKET_CLOSED]: Socket is closed.

The same error occurs when I preview the Application in VS Code.

However, when previewing the service/CDS view in ADT, the output is successfully displayed.

Can you please help?

Can you connect via HTTP to the ABAP System?

Good Day Gregor,

When I connect directly via the browser, I need add the path '/sap/bc/ui2/flp#Shell-home' to the ':8000' or ':8443' port, otherwise I get a 404 error.

However, when using the Template Wizard, both the HTTP and HTTPS servers get picked-up successfully in the Data Source and Service Selection part, without the path '/sap/bc/ui2/flp#Shell-home' .
