Dynamic data masking within SAP BW application

SAP HANA 2.0 SP3 onwards supports dynamic data masking to obfuscate data for users. This is set a table level, and accessed by a calculation view.

Does anybody know if this functionality can be used in an SAP BW application running on a HANA 2.0 db, either a BW 7.5 on HANA, or a BW/4HANA?

I have searched the normal places and found a single SAP blog post that said it was not integrated as at May 2018 (https://blogs.sap.com/2018/05/30/sap-bw4hana-under-the-covers./) but I wondered if anybody has done this for GDPR after that?

SAP offers a product line to mask in ECC and S/4 systems - UI data protection masking

We currently do not offer masking in BW4HANA but would be eager to have a look at the requirements and explore further.

In case this topic is still open at your side, can you please revert and then we can explore further the requirements.
