Format time in standard time picker

Hi Experts,

I am building a backend driven SAP Fiori Elements App, which has a field with data type TIMS, and hence, as expected, I see standard Time Picker as a value help for this field in the app, as shown below:

However, the application users would like to see only hours and minutes in the picker, because there would never be any case where they want to store seconds as well. And with current time picker, it takes them a few clicks to reset seconds to 00, hence little irritating for them. Could you suggest how can I show only hours and mins?

We are using SAP S/4HANA 2020 On Prem FPS2

You have to use an adaptation project and add a custom filter. The guided development tours can help with this as well in BAS.
