Hana Express on VM

Trying to get started on a laptop using VMWare Getting a cpu shutdown error on vm -- result , hangs, installation never completes Any suggestions? Thanks,

Hey Ben,

Can you give more details of the problem?

I tried two options:

1) convert the OVA machine into one that can work with Parallels (and yes, the VM hung.. did not go anywhere).

2) Imported it into VMWare Fusion .. working with no glitch - basically took over my 16GB Mac and did not leave much for the rest... but it worked.

Hi Ben,

can you provide some specifics on your problem? which platform you are on?

e.g. which hyper-visor that  you are using? what error message if any that you see?

Note: VMWare Player, VMWare Workstation are supported on Windows; VMWare Fusion is supported on Mac. More specifically, HANA express is in the process of getting certified for VirtualBox.
